We’re a New York City bookstore that specializes in all types of civil rights and left wing groups. We especially focus on the Black Panther Party and other organizations active during 1950’s-1970’s. We are lovers of counter culture and all the varied ways these groups expressed themselves. Original posters, pinback buttons, photographs, records and books are some of the items we purchase. Aside from the Black Panthers we also buy items from many other left wing groups such as the Youth International Party (YIPPIES), Young Lords Party (YLP), American Indian Movement (AIM), Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), Weather Underground Organization (WUO) and all Anti Vietnam War causes. This isn’t an exhaustive list as there are far too many groups to name. But if you have items from these types of political, beatnik or hippie groups be certain to contact us.

We buy from collectors, estates, online dealers and other bookstores from the United States and abroad. We buy pretty much everything. From an individual pinback button to a collection of over 5,000 pieces. We can travel for larger collections or we can also take submissions by mail.
